Embark on a journey through the lives of our customers, the heartbeat of MORO's vision. As we delve into their imperfectly sustainable lifestyles, you'll witness choices that resonate with our shared commitment.
This interview holds a special significance as Sarah, mother of two adorable girls, is not only an integral part of the MORO story but also happens to be the sister of our founder, Yasmine. Her presence from the very beginning makes her one of MORO's most enthusiastic and biggest supporters.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR 'HOME'
Home, to me, symbolizes a haven of coziness and peace for the mind to me. Whether it’s drinking a glass of wine by the fireplace, playing with the kids in the living room or just the daily cooking, it’s a space that extrudes warmth and where we make lifelong memories.
Free time? Not really happening these days with a 5-month-old newborn and a lively 4-year-old. But when I do get the chance to slip away, my favorite escape is into the woods with our faithful Labrador, Mila.
Well honestly, I have not much to say in our interior. My husband, Roy, has a deep passion for interior design, and he orchestrates every detail with meticulous precision to ensure that everything blends in our interior. He tends to be quite slow in making decisions though, so every once and a while I make a decision myself when I don’t have patience anymore. Fortunately, after over 14 years together, we share the same vision on aesthetics.
If I have to be completely honest, it’s not a topic that I delve into extensively on my own. While I’m well aware of the overarching issues concerning climate change, it’s not a topic I deeply explore.
WHAT ROLE DOES SUSTAINABILITY HAVE IN YOUR LIFE?
I think it’s very personal how you integrate it in your life. It's a topic that I feel has a different meaning to everyone.
For us, it’s mainly by investing in quality. Take our grocery shopping, for instance; we exclusively choose Crisp, a platform dedicated to local food. Planning ahead is another aspect we prioritize, ensuring minimal food waste in our household. The same philosophy extends to choices in interior items, clothing and even travel, we only look for quality that lasts for a long time.
WHY MORO?
Well, my sister is the initial brain behind MORO, so it’s safe to say that I’m one of the very first early adopters. She has a lot of ideas though, and I’ll always tell her honestly if I believe in it or not. MORO was a concept I immediately believed in from the first second.
It’s a solution that I feel is perfect for us. Juggling a hectic schedule and being quite picky about what enters our living space, MORO fits in perfectly in our lifestyle. It’s not only a beautifully designed object with a high-quality product inside, but at the same time it gives us a good feeling everytime we refill that we’re contributing to a world with fewer plastic bottles.
COMPLETE THE SENTENCE: MORO IS...
A GENIOUS concept that gives me a good feeling every time I refill, while staying true to our lifestyle.
